Ludhiana, October 02 –(H S KITTY 9814060516) Under the guidance of Mr. Harpreet Singh Sudan, Director Sports Department, Government of Punjab and under the able guidance of District administration, enthusiasm was seen among the players on the third day of Sports Watan Punjab 2023 Season-2.
These sports have 25 sports in different age groups athletics, basketball, badminton, boxing, chess, football, gatka, hockey, handball, judo, kick boxing, kabaddi national, kabaddi circle, khob-khob, lawn tennis, netball, powerlifting, shooting, softball, swimming, table tennis, volleyball shooting, volleyball smashing, weightlifting and wrestling competitions from 30 September 2023 To be held until October 5, 2023.
District Sports Officer Shri Rupinder Singh encouraged the players by visiting various sports stadiums and also reviewed other arrangements for distributing medals to the players.
While sharing the results of those today’s sports competitions, they said that in athletics games Jobwant Singh (Doraha) got first position, Daljit Singh (Pakhowal) got second position and Sahilpreet Singh (Samrala) got third position. Event 60m U-14 years boys Angadvir singh(ludhiana) got 1st position, Gagandeep singh(Raikot) 2nd position, Anmolpreet singh(Khanna) 3rd position and Anurag bawa(ludhaina) 4th position.
Amit Tomar got first place, Ajit Singh second place, and Kishan Lal Sonkar third place in 500 meters under 21 years. 110 meter hurdle jaspreet singh first place rashpinder singh second place and vardan third place. Guramrit Singh got first place, Arshdeep Singh got second and Akshay Kumar got third place in shotput competition. 1500 meters Rohit Kamboj got first place Mohit second place and Amandeep Singh third place.
In the Kho-Kho competition held among girls in Government college Ludhiana in kho-Kho, under 21 years girls, team of government college Ludhiana won first position, team of Ghalib Kalan Ludhiana second position, Sri Gur Ram Rai School Barewal third position and government school Bharat Nagar Ludhiana Got fourth position, in under-17 years girls. S. S. S. Sohian Coaching Center first place, Ji. Ann. P. S. Bassian second place, S. H. School Begowal got third place and Government Senior Secondary School Sarabha team got fourth place.
Prabhpratap singh won first place in under-14 years boys air pistol nr in shooting sport competitions at narangwal prithviraj singh gill got second place and tejvir singh sohi got third position in under-14 years girls air pistol n r In Namsvi got first place, Dharna got second place and Mansirat Grewal got third place, In U-17 boys Air Pistol NR competition Varun Wadhra got first place,Daler Singh Grewal got second place and Naman B Mahajan got third place. In under 17 girls air pistol Nishika Jain got first place Anahatmeet kaur got second place and Seerat Sharma got third place. Rajveer Singh won the first place in the under-17 years boys air rifle.
