GKS PRIME FLEX Mobile is available in both cemented and cementless version.
In the cemented version the surface in contact with the bone of the femoral and tibial components has depressions for an even distribution of the cement mantle and an optimal distribution of the loads, giving stability to the implant.
In the cementless version, the surface in contact with the bone with HaX-Pore® coating (300μm pure titanium + 50μm Hydroxyapatite plasma sprayed) allows for good primary stability and and encourage osteoblasts growth for biological integration.
1Ultracongruent articular insert
Femoral component
The femoral component is common for both mobile and fix bearing options of the GKS PRIME FLEX System.
2 Optimized posterior condyles thickness
3 Narrow and elongated trochlear profile
4 Rounded edges
5 Ultracongruent articular insert
The UC rotating tibial insert is designed for an ultracongruent contact with the femoral component thus providing high stability even in the absence of the PCL.
It is available in 10 thicknesses*, also in VITAL-E®, UHMWPE added with antioxidizing Vitamin E.
*Some thicknesses may be on request.
Tibial component
The design of the tibial component provides a flanged keel for metaphyseal anchorage which opposes the anterior-posterior tilting movements and torsion forces. The tibial component is available in 7 sizes, both in cemented and cementless version with HaX-Pore®.
