Inter Batch Sports Competition “Khiladi- 2024” held in the College of Nursing

LUDHIANA (punjabiheadline) College of Nursing, CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana conducted Inter-Batch Sports Competition “Khiladi-2024” on 9th & 10th April, 2024 at Morning Side & Margaretta Craig Hostel Lawn under the guidance of
Dr. Usha Singh, Professor & Principal, College of Nursing, CMC, Ludhiana. The inauguration of sports competition was done by the Chief Guest – Dr. William Bhatti, Director, CMC and Prof. (Mrs.) Balqis Victor & Prof.(Mrs.) Harjit, Vice Principals – College of Nursing, CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana followed by the March Past which was led by the Best Female Athlete of year 2023 i.e.
Ms. Anet Viji Mathews. Dr. William Bhatti in his address emphasized that sports are important to keep the students physically and mentally healthy. He congratulated the faculty and students for the success of the event. Prof.(Mrs.) Balqis Victor, Vice Principal said that sports help the students to reduce the stress and improve their confidence & they also learn how to live a disciplined life. Felicitations were done by Mr. Barnabas P. Rafi, General Supdt. He appreciated the students for their great enthusiasm and sportsmanship which was shown by all student nurses during the sports meet. Vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Pritika Samson, Nursing Tutor.
The sports events carried out were Volley Ball, Throw Ball, Basketball, Badminton, Chess, Carom, Table-Tennis, Kho-Kho etc. The faculty members also took part in various events with great enthusiasm. The prizes were distributed to the winners during the valedictory session on 10th April, 2024. The Best Athlete Male & Female – 2024 were Mr. Aneesh K. Charly and Ms. Anet Viji Mathew respectively. The Best Player of the Tournament Male & Female – 2024 were Mr. Crist Dass and Ms. Christina Prakash. The entire sports meet was co-ordinated by Mrs. Aster K. Maish, Asstt. Profesor, Mr. Issac Procha & Mrs. Neha Anit Joseph, Nursing Tutors.
