Ludhiana (Punjabi Headline)The World Health Day was celebrated at Mata Kaushalya Devi Pahwa Charitable Hospital, Hambran (A Unit of CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana) on the theme “My Health, My Right” by the TNAI & SNA Unit, under the guidance of
Dr. Usha Singh, Professor & Principal, College of Nursing, CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana to aware the public, patients & their relatives, staff and employees of the hospital regarding the rights of persons related to health. The program was started with invocation song by B.Sc. 5th Semester (2021 Batch) students followed by Bible reading & prayer. Dr. William Bhatti – Director, CMC & Hospital and Dr. Usha Singh, Professor & Principal, College of Nursing encouraged the students and the faculty for their efforts to organized the exhibition and educational program for the public. Prof.(Mrs.) Ritu P. Naihar, Treasurer – TNAI (local unit) unfolded the theme of WHO – 2024 and emphasized that health is the right of every individual and to stay healthy we need safe water, clean air and good nutrition. Every individual should have good housing facilities and comfortable working environment as well as health facilities should be easily accessible to all. Dr. Gurshan Singh Gill, CMO – MKDH encouraged the gathering to adopt healthy life style to stay healthy. Mr. Rajinder Singh Sidhu, President – Lok Insaaf Party, Village Noorpur Bet & Mr. Inderpreet Singh – Inspector Central Excise Department grace the occasion with their presence & appreciated the effort of faculty & students of College of Nursing, CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana. The role play was enacted by B.Sc. 5th Semester (2021 batch) students. Poster exhibition was displayed on the theme by SNA members which was enjoyed & appreciated by all. Mrs. Aster K. Masih-Secretary, TNAI (Local Branch) extended heartfelt gratitude to all present.
