– Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund inaugurated two-day annual sports day at Planet E School
Samrala, Khanna, Ludhiana, December 8 (H S KITTY) Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Capital Investment Incentive, Labour, Hospitality, Industry and Commerce and Rural Development Panchayat Minister Punjab Shri Tarunpreet Singh Saund inaugurated the two-day Annual Sports Day at Planet E School, Salodi (Samrala)
on Sunday by lighting the candles. Mrs. Sonia Dhawan, Chairperson and Managing Director of Planet E School were also present with them on the occasion.
Cabinet Minister Shri Tarunpreet Singh Saund said that the Punjab government is taking massive efforts to uplift the sports culture in the state and take the youth from the playground to the top.
Shri Tarunpreet Singh Saund said that the state government is committed to creating a ‘Rangla Punjab’ in Punjab. They said there is no shortage of talent among the youth of the state but the players need better infrastructure and facilities as the demand of the time is being ensured by the state government. They said that drugs are also being eradicated from the state by connecting the youth with sports. Told the youth of the state to make sports an integral part of their lives for a healthy lifestyle.
The cabinet minister inspired school students to make sports a part of their lives and achieve success in every field. They told that this Planet E School in Khanna and Samrala area is one of the best educational institute. This school has a culture of learning and sports. They said that by studying in this school students should continue to glorify their parents, Punjab and the country. They said that the school deducts 50 per cent of the monthly school fees from girls and provides a great facility for girls to progress, which they highly appreciate.
The chairman and principal of the school emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle through sports. They appreciated the students, teachers and parents for making this day a success. They said that the school sports competitions include games of 100m, 200m, 400m race etc.
Cabinet Minister Mr. Tarunpreet Singh Saund was also specially honored by the Chairperson and Managing Director of Planet E School, Smt. Sonia Dhawan and her team on this occasion.
