Ludhiana, January 25, 2025: (H S KITTY) Christian Medical College (CMC) Ludhiana will host a thought-provoking Grand Round session on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 8:00 AM in the hospital auditorium. The session, titled “Mission (Im)Possible – Evidence vs Frenzy in Modern Medicine”, will address the critical debate of scientific evidence versus popular medical trends in contemporary healthcare.
Prof. Kenny David, the Chief of the Spine Unit at CMC Vellore, will lead the discussion, sharing his insights and expertise on how clinical evidence should guide treatment over trending medical practices that may lack scientific support. The session promises to be an enriching experience for medical professionals, offering a deeper understanding of the balance between evidence-based medicine and the frenzy of quick fixes and popular solutions that often take center stage in healthcare discussions.
This event is aimed at providing clarity and shedding light on best practices for effective patient care, ensuring that professionals are better equipped to distinguish between medical fads and well-founded, research-backed treatments.
The event will be open to all medical professionals, and attendees are encouraged to engage in lively discussions following the lecture.
